A baked cookie pie crust is filled with pudding and topped with pear slices.

Makes 12 servings


  • 16    Tea biscuits, finely crushed
  • 1/4  cup   sugar
  • 1/4  cup   margarine or butter, melted
  • 1  (4-serving size)   package instant vanilla pudding & pie filling
  • 1 1/2  cups   milk
  • 1/4  teaspoon   ground cinnamon
  • 1  (16-ounce)   can sliced pears in juice, well drained
  •     Additional ground cinnamon and fresh mint sprig, for garnish


  1. Mix cookie crumbs, sugar and margarine or butter. Press firmly on bottom and side of 9-inch tart pan with removable bottom or springform pan.
  2. Bake at 350┬░F for 5 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack.
  3. Prepare pudding according to package directions using milk and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Spread over cooled crust. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  4. Top with pear slices in decorative pattern; sprinkle with additional cinnamon and top with mint sprig for garnish. Refrigerate until serving time.
