  • 1  (7-ounce)   package Shortcake Biscuits
  • 2  tablespoons   strong brewed coffee or coffee liqueur
  • 2  (4-serving size)   packages ROYAL Vanilla Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
  • 4  cups   milk
  • 1/2  cup   sour cream
  • 1  tablespoon   instant espresso powder
  •     Whipped cream, for garnish


  1. Place cookies on baking sheet; brush or drizzle with coffee or liqueur. Set aside.
  2. Prepare pudding according to package directions using milk, sour cream and espresso powder.
  3. Place 5 cookies on bottom of a 9 x 5 x 3-inch glass loaf pan. Top with one-third pudding mixture; repeat layers twice. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. Serve topped with whipped cream.
