WAFER FRUIT TART
The unexpected combination of apricots and chocolate wafers makes this an unusual tart.

Chocolate Wafers, divided
margarine or butter, melted
(4-serving size) package ROYAL Vanilla Pudding & Pie Filling
cut-up fresh fruit
- Cut 10 wafers in half using serrated knife; set aside. Finely roll remaining wafers. Mix crumbs and margarine or butter; press on bottom of 9-inch springform pan or pie plate. Stand halved wafers around edge of pan, overlapping and pressing cut side
- firmly into crumbs. Bake at 350°F for 5 minutes; cool.
- Blend pudding mix, milk and cream in saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil. Pour into prepared crust. Refrigerate 3 hours.
- Arrange fruit pieces over pie. Heat preserves until melted; spoon over fruit. Refrigerate until serving time.
