  • 28    Chocolate Wafers, divided
  • 2  tablespoons   margarine or butter, melted
  • 1    (4-serving size) package ROYAL Vanilla Pudding & Pie Filling
  • 1  cup   milk
  • 1/2  cup   heavy cream
  • 3  cups   cut-up fresh fruit
  • 1/3  cup   apricot preserves


  1. Cut 10 wafers in half using serrated knife; set aside. Finely roll remaining wafers. Mix crumbs and margarine or butter; press on bottom of 9-inch springform pan or pie plate. Stand halved wafers around edge of pan, overlapping and pressing cut side
  2. firmly into crumbs. Bake at 350┬░F for 5 minutes; cool.
  3. Blend pudding mix, milk and cream in saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil. Pour into prepared crust. Refrigerate 3 hours.
  4. Arrange fruit pieces over pie. Heat preserves until melted; spoon over fruit. Refrigerate until serving time.
