TOASTED ALMOND BANANA POPS

These frozen pudding pops have sweet banana chunks and almond coatings.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6  (5-ounce)   paper cups
  • 1/3  cup   Slivered Almonds, toasted and chopped
  • 1    (4-serving size) package ROYAL SugarFree Instant Banana Cream Pudding & Pie Filling
  • 1 1/2  cups   2% lowfat milk
  • 1  teaspoon   almond extract
  • 1  cup   prepared whipped topping
  • 6    popsicle sticks
  • 1    medium banana, cut crosswise into 6 pieces

DIRECTIONS

  1. Lightly grease insides of paper cups; sprinkle the bottom and side of each cup with about 1 tablespoon almonds.
  2. Prepare pudding according to package directions using milk and almond extract; fold in whipped topping. Spoon pudding into prepared cups. Insert a popsicle stick into a banana piece; insert into pudding in center of each cup.
  3. Freeze until firm, about 4 hours.
