CHOCOLATE FONDUE

Children love to dip animal crackers in this warm chocolate and peanut butter fondue.

Makes 2 1/2 cups

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4  cup   margarine or butter
  • 1/4  cup   chunky or creamy peanut butter
  • 1    (4-serving size) package ROYAL Chocolate Pudding & Pie Filling
  • 2  cups   light cream or half-and-half
  •     animal crackers, cake cubes and fruit pieces, for dipping

DIRECTIONS

  1. Microwave margarine or butter and peanut butter in 2-quart microwavable bow, at HIGH (100%) power for 30 to 60 seconds, stirring until melted and smooth. Stir in pudding mix and cream or half-and-half. Microwave 1 minute; stir. Microwave 4 to 5 minut
  2. es more or until mixture is thickened, stirring every minute.
  3. Cool slightly (cover pudding surface with plastic wrap to prevent skin from forming). Serve warm with animal crackers, cake cubes and fruit pieces for dipping.
