It's easy--and fun--to create a jungle filled with wild animals atop this frozen raspberry gelatin pie.

  • 1 1/2  cups   Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 2  tablespoons   sugar
  • 1/3  cup   margarine or butter, melted
  • 1    (2 1/8-ounce) box animal crackers
  • 1  (4-serving size)   package ROYAL Raspberry Gelatin
  • 1/4  cup   sugar
  • 1  cup   boiling water
  • 1  cup   cold water
  • 2  cups   prepared whipped topping, divided
  •     Colored sprinkles, optional


  1. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar and margarine or butter in medium bowl; press firmly on bottom and halfway up side of 9-inch pie plate. Place 12 to 14 animal crackers facing out around outside edge of pie plate, pressing firmly into crumb mixture;
  2. refrigerate 15 minutes.
  3. Mix gelatin and remaining sugar in small bowl; stir in boiling water until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water; set aside 1/2 cup gelatin. Pour remaining gelatin into 8 x 8 x 2-inch metal pan; freeze until ice crystals form around edge of pan, a
  4. bout 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Beat partially frozen gelatin until foamy. Fold in 1 cup whipped topping; spoon into prepared pie crust. Freeze 15 minutes. Top with reserved gelatin mixture; freeze 2 hours or until firm.
  6. Garnish pie as desired using remaining whipped topping, animal crackers and sprinkles. Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes before serving.
