Makes 18 bars


  • 18    squares graham crackers, finely rolled (about 1 1/4 cups crumbs)
  • 1  cup   sugar, divided
  • 1/2  cup   margarine or butter, melted, divided
  • 2    eggs
  • 1    (4-serving size) package ROYAL Instant Butterscotch Pudding & Pie Filling
  • 1  cup   all-purpose flour
  • 1/2  cup   Walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2  cup   semisweet chocolate chips


  1. Blend crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/3 cup margarine or butter in small bowl. Press mixture on bottom of 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 375°F for 8 minutes; set aside.
  2. Beat eggs and remaining sugar in medium bowl with electric mixer at high speed until thick and pale yellow. Add remaining margarine or butter. Stir in pudding mix and flour until blended. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips. Spread mixture over crust

  4. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Cool; cut into 18 bars. Store in airtight container.
