CHOCOLATE WALNUT FUDGE

The old-fashioned formula for dense fudge with the bite of walnuts.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2  cup   margarine or butter
  • 1/2  cup   milk
  • 2    (4-serving size) packages MY*T*FINE Chocolate Pudding and Pie Filling*
  • 1  (16-ounce)   package powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1  teaspoon   vanilla extract
  • 1  cup   Walnuts, coarsely chopped

DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt margarine or butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add milk and pudding mix, stirring constantly. Heat mixture to a boil; stir for 1 minute.
  2. Remove from heat; beat in sugar, vanilla extract and walnuts just until smooth and well blended.
  3. Spread into 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into 20 pieces to serve.
  4. *Substitute other flavors MY*T*FINE Pudding for variety.
