STRAWBERRY CREAM STARS

Vanilla pudding gets an infusion of fruit flavor and color when combined with strawberry gelatin and finished with blueberry sauce.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1    (4-serving size) package ROYAL Strawberry Gelatin
  • 1  cup   boiling water
  • 3/4  cup   cold water, divided
  • 1    (4-serving size) package ROYAL Instant Vanilla Pudding & Pie Filling
  • 1  cup   milk
  • 1  cup   prepared whipped topping, divided
  • 2  cups   fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1  teaspoon   cornstarch

DIRECTIONS

  1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water in small bowl; stir in 1/2 cup cold water. Refrigerate until slightly thickened.
  2. Prepare pudding according to package directions using milk. Fold thickened gelatin and 1/2 cup whipped topping into prepared pudding. Pour into 5 (4-ounce) star molds. Refrigerate 4 hours or until set.
  3. Combine blueberries, remaining water and cornstarch in small saucepan until blended. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils; cool.
  4. Unmold gelatin onto individual serving plates. Top with blueberry sauce and remaining whipped topping.
