STRAWBERRY FRUIT SOUP

With fresh strawberries and a hint of cinnamon, this chilled soup adds a cool touch to summertime meals and picnics.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1    (4-serving size) package ROYAL Strawberry Gelatin
  • 1  cup   boiling water
  •     ground cardamom
  • 1    cinnamon stick
  • 1 1/2  cups   Assorted drained canned fruits, liquid reserved
  •     Cold water
  • 1  cup   orange sections
  • 1/2  cup   sliced strawberries

DIRECTIONS

  1. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in cardamom and cinnamon stick.
  2. Add enough cold water to reserved fruit liquid to equal 3 cups; add to gelatin mixture. Stir in fruits.
  3. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours. Remove cinnamon stick. Serve in chilled bowls.
